Book Plates

The Golden Decade is a new book, just published by Steidl, that embodies the history, photography and stories of 32 of the lucky students who studied with Ansel Adams and Minor White after WWII in San Francisco, California. Among the other photographic luminaries teaching at that time at the California School of Fine Arts, (CSFA) now named the San Francisco Art Institute, were Edward Weston, Dorothea Lange, Imogen Cunningham, Nancy and Beaumont Newhall, Lisette Model among others.
